The lightweight and highly sensitive AGS (Air Guide System) uses a carbon frame, and due to the characteristics of carbon, which is about three times as rigid as titanium, it has high sensitivity by directly transmitting the slightest signal transmitted through the line to the blank without absorbing it. CWS (Carbon Wrapping System)
DAIWA's unique technology uses carbon cloth to secure guides and reel seats to the blank. By fastening parts with tightly woven carbon cloth instead of thread, the parts attachment parts can be made lighter, and this contributes to higher holding power (torsion rigidity of guide attachment parts) and improved durability (crack resistance).
X45 Full Shield (=X45 Cobra Shield)
The X45 Full Shield structure tightens the outermost layer of the blank with a 45° carbon bias cross from the tip of the blank, where twisting is most likely to occur, to prevent twisting during casting, action, hooking, and fighting. This dramatically improves torsional rigidity, allowing for greater cast accuracy and the ability to fully utilize the rod's inherent capabilities.
